Day 1

Depart from USA.

Day 2-7

Family Stay - This was by far the best part of the trip. I loved being a part of a real family rather than just a tourist. I wish it could have lasted forever!!

Day 8

Avignon - Travel by TGV to Avignon. Afternoon to tour the Palais des Papes and dance on the famous Pont St Bénézet.

Day 9

Provence - Explore the Roman ruins of Provence: the Pont du Gard, the amphitheatre and the Maison Carrée of Nîmes. Spend the afternoon in the wildlife refuge of the Camague and the evening in Les-Baux-de-Provence.

Day 10

Nice - Visit a “Fabrique de Santons” in Aix-en-Provence before going to the Côte d’Azur in time for a late afternoon swim in the Mediterranean Sea. Stroll along the famed Boulevard de la Croisette in Cannes.

Day 11

Nice - Discover the resort city of Nice, its old quarter and the Promenade des Anglais. See the Chagall Memorial and the Matisse Museum in Nice.

Day 12

Côte d’Azur - Tour the inland villages: St Paul de Vence and Eze where you will visit a perfume factory before a scenic drive to Monaco on the Moyenne Corniche. Admire Monte Carlo’s skyscrapers, the Grand Casino and the Palais du Prince. Night train to Paris.

Day 13

Paris - Early morning arrival in Paris and transfer to your hotel. Day of visits in the French capital organized by your teachers. Possibilities include: the Louvre, the Musée d’Orsay, Jardin des Tuileries and Beaubourg. Evening boat ride to see the “City of Light” from the Seine.

Day 14

Paris - Enjoy the Place du Tertre in Montmartre and a final afternoon to finish your shopping in Paris. Early Sign-up students enjoy a dinner at "58 Tour Eiffel" on the first level of the Eiffel Tower.

Day 15

Au Revoir! - Return flight to USA.
