Day 2
Paris - Spend the day in the French capital
with your teachers to see the places you’ve been learning about in
your French classes.
Day 3
Paris - Day of visits in Paris organized by
your teachers. Possibilities include: Notre Dame, Musée d’Orsay,
Sacré Coeur. Enjoy an evening boat ride on the Seine to see the
“City of Light” from a new perspective.
Day 4
Honfleur - Visit the house and gardens of
Claude Monet at Giverny. Stop to see the Place du Vieux Marché and
the cathedral in Rouen on your way to scenic Honfleur.
Day 5
St Malo - Learn about D-Day history in
Normandy while visiting the Landing beaches, the Musée du
Débarquement and the American Cemetery.
Day 6
St Malo - Explore the abbey and village of
Mont St Michel and spend a free afternoon to discover the seaside city
of St Malo, famous for its ramparts and pirate history.
Day 7
Amboise - Head for the Loire Valley. Stop to
view the sculptured gardens of Villandry and tour the château of
Amboise with its spiral ramp.
Day 8
Amboise - Spend your day visiting the châteaux
of Chenonceau and Chambord. Stop to see one of the famous wine cellars
of Vouvray.
Day 9
Paris - Early departure for Paris stopping
along the way at the cathedral in Chartres to view its breathtaking
stained glass windows. Afternoon in Paris for final sightseeing and
shopping in the city. Early Sign-up students enjoy a dinner at "58
Tour Eiffel" on the first level of the Eiffel Tower.
